Growing up on a farm has given me a strong work ethic combined with a “can do” attitude. Hard work and responsibility were always required, and those skills have remained an important part of my life. These attributes carried me through my schooling at Washington State University and into my professional life as a Broker for Windermere Real Estate. The decision to join Windermere was the easiest business decision I have made, I have been here since 2014 and I plan to be here throughout my Real Estate career. The reputation and amazing people at Windermere make me feel as though I joined a big family, with support for my business and personal goals.
I am an all-time Real Estate Broker offering services in residential listing and sales. I will return all calls in a reasonable time and give updates regularly. Together we will establish your real estate goals, and I will focus on helping you reach them. I understand the importance of communication and follow-thru, and promise to keep you fully informed and up-to-date.
My business partner Megan O'Bryan and I joined forces in 2016 as a way to better support our clients. We accomplish this by looking at each potential listing, or offer we write with two opinions to make sure YOU are getting the best info possible when making your life decisions.
In 2019 I married my wife Alana, together we started our family and currently have a sweet boy and two fun loving dogs. We love spending time outdoors hiking in the mountains and boating around the San Juan Islands, even more when we get to do that with a fishing pole or crab pots! We feel fortunate to live in such a beautiful place, surrounded by such a great community of family and friends.
I am a lifelong Skagitonian. I love this area, and know it well. My husband Matt and I have two amazing, active sons. I have a degree in physiological psychology from Western Washington University, and spent my first "work life" in retail. After twenty years behind the retail counter, I was ready for a new challenge. Real Estate has always been a part of my life. Many a dinner conversation revolved around a house my Dad was listing. Sunday drives in our family were business: we logged many miles scouting property. My Dad's been in real estate as long as I can remember, and always shared his love and enthusiasm for this industry with me. In 2006 I became a licensed real estate agent. I'm proud and excited to be a part of two great real estate families - both my own personal family and the Windermere family. As an agent, I am focused on continuing my real estate education and developing partnerships with service providers in related industries.
I am an active community volunteer and supporter. I spent many hours volunteering in my sons' classrooms, and serve (or have served) on community boards, including the Skagit Valley College Foundation Board of Governors, the Mount Vernon Downtown Association, Tulip Festival Board, North Puget Sound Association of REALTORS, and I have been honored to serve as an appointed Trustee on the Board of Directors for Skagit Valley College.
My goal is to provide you with the professional expertise you need to make wise real estate investments and the exceptional customer service you want to make the transactions enjoyable. I want you to know what's happening at each step in the process, whether buying or selling, and to always understand your options. With over twenty years of customer service experience, I know how to anticipate issues and how to handle complications. I don't want you to just be satisfied with my performance - I want you to be thrilled with it, so that you can't wait to tell your friends and co-workers how great it was to work with me! My career depends on your positive experience.
As a full-service real estate agent, you'll get my attention, my time, and my knowledge. You'll also enjoy the benefits and the knowledge of the Windermere company and its family of agents. I'm very proud to work for a great company like Windermere, and also for two great REALTORS - my dad, Jim Scott, and my brother and managing broker, Josh Scott. Their professionalism and expertise are unparalleled. We use continuing education, cutting-edge technologies, and constant communication to provide you with professional, personal service.

~North Puget Sound Association of REALTORS (NPSAR) 2008 Rookie of the Year
~GRI (Graduate REALTOR Institute)
